Director, Global Payroll

📋 Description

• Oversee domestic and international payroll; design workflows and controls for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage full-cycle payroll for 1,500+ employees across US, Canada, UK, Europe.
• Partner with UKG, Papaya and Deel to optimize payroll systems and automation.
• Recruit and develop payroll talent; serve as subject matter expert for inquiries.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to scale global payroll across new geographies while standardizing processes with local flexibility.
• Monitor payroll laws to ensure tax and benefits compliance and timely filings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or related field or equivalent.
• Preferred CPP/PHR/HRIP payroll certifications.
• 10+ years leading global payroll across multi-country operations.
• Experience transforming payroll for automation and scalability.
• UKG, Papaya and Deel knowledge; vendor and platform experience.
• Strong project management and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
