📋 Description

• Operates safety equipment and follows safe work habits.
• Positions, aligns, and welds parts per blueprints and layouts.
• Reads, sets up, and operates welding hand/power tools.
• Examines workpieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Moves parts into position manually or with hoists/cranes.
• Welds with complete joint penetration per AWS D1.1 and inspection.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and read a tape measure.
• Welding certification or prior Welder II test passed.
• Capable of producing complete joint penetration welds per AWS D1.1.
• Ability to use standard weld gauges and read welding symbols.
• GMAW experience required.
