As the Senior Director, AI at Fireblocks, you will lead strategy and execution of AI initiatives that power our platform for digital assets, custody, and security. You will build and mentor a high-performing team of ML engineers and researchers, collaborate with product, security, data, and platform teams, and translate business goals into scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities

    \n
  • Define the AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives for the platform and product verticals.
  • \n
  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of ML engineers and researchers; drive hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with product, data, security, risk, and platform teams to design, prototype, and deploy production AI systems.
  • \n
  • Establish governance, ethics, and compliance for AI initiatives, including risk assessment and privacy considerations.
  • \n
  • Define and implement ML lifecycle processes (experimentation, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining).
  • \n
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate business requirements into measurable AI outcomes and ROI.

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Extensive leadership experience directing AI/ML programs at scale in tech or fintech environments.
  • \n
  • Strong track record delivering AI solutions from ideation to production with measurable impact.
  • \n
  • PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; 10+ years of ML/AI leadership experience.
  • \n
  • Deep knowledge of ML/DL, data systems, and MLOps; hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • \n
