Role Overview

As a SecOps Specialist at Fireblocks, you will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across our systems and cloud environments. You will participate in building and evolving the security operations program and work closely with engineering, product, and incident response teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM and security tooling; triage and investigate potential incidents
• Respond to security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, containment, and remediation
• Collaborate with engineering to implement security controls and improve detection coverage
• Maintain and improve playbooks, runbooks, and incident response processes
• Support vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and risk assessments
• Participate in on-call rotations and security readiness exercises

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security operations, incident response, or related field
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container security
• Proficiency with SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, Elastic), EDR, and network security tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work under pressure
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, SANS) are a plus
• Ability to collaborate across teams and document technical findings clearly
