IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description

Fireblocks is seeking an IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimize our IT systems and infrastructure in New York. This role supports reliable operations for a fast-growing fintech environment, partnering with security and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-availability IT services. You will oversee servers, networks, end-user devices, monitoring, incident response, and vendor relationships while helping define IT strategy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery planning, backups, and monitoring
• Implement and maintain security controls and compliance readiness
• Administer endpoints, identity and access management, and device enrollment
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams on projects and deployments
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and lifecycle management of hardware and software

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related role
• Strong problem-solving and incident response skills
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
• Experience with security best practices and compliance considerations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
