About the role
Fireblocks is seeking a Cryptography Reliability Engineer in Tel Aviv to design, implement, and maintain cryptographic systems for secure digital asset custody and transaction processing. You will work with security and infrastructure teams to ensure robustness, high availability, and strong cryptographic guarantees.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic primitives and protocols
- Review cryptographic protocol designs and perform threat modeling
- Develop reliability and performance tests for cryptographic components
- Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Product teams to maintain security and compliance
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and incident response
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong experience in cryptography, cryptographic algorithms, and security
- Experience with systems programming (e.g., Rust, C/C++, Go)
- Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and standards (AES, ECC, TLS)
- Knowledge of threat modeling and security audits
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
