Fireblocks is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our security team in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will help secure Fireblocks' platform, APIs, and services that empower secure digital asset custody and transfer.

Responsibilities

Perform security reviews of applications and infrastructure
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments during design and development
Carry out static and dynamic security testing, vulnerability management, and secure coding reviews
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve the secure SDLC
Develop security tooling to automate checks and detections
Respond to security incidents and participate in post-incident analysis
Contribute to security documentation, training, and best practices

Requirements

3+ years of experience in application security or security engineering
Strong knowledge of threat modeling, code reviews, vulnerability management, and secure development lifecycle
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
Experience with cloud security and cloud environments
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and security testing tooling (SAST/DAST)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Experience with blockchain/cryptography security or fintech products
Security automation and DevSecOps experience
