Fincrime and Fraud Model Validator

📋 Description

• Perform independent validations of FinCrime/Fraud models using proportionate methods.
• Write clear model validation reports and present findings to committees.
• Review FinCrime/Fraud model changes and advise first line teams.
• Build relationships with first line defence and risk teams to embed the model risk framework.
• Support monitoring of model performance and advise on actions.
• Research and learn latest modelling techniques and validation practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing/validating Financial Crime or Fraud models.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical techniques for risk management.
• Experience managing a modelling project through full lifecycle.
• Strong technical skills such as SQL or Python.
• Working knowledge of ML models (e.g., gradient boosted trees).
• Understanding of Customer Risk controls at account opening and Transaction Monitoring.
