Financial Reporting Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee EU monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, incl. inter-group UK-EU oversight.
• Ensure IFRS compliance; lead adoption of new accounting standards.
• Support the MBEU annual report and external financial reporting.
• Work with external auditors during audits.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and data controls.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvements in reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• ACA/CA qualified with an audit background; 3-4 years post-qual.
• Manager-level experience in financial reporting and control outside practice.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and statutory audit experience.
• Banking background preferred; understanding regulatory controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior management and auditors.
• Comfort with using data to automate reporting; SQL is a bonus.
