- Own the month-end close for UK, Germany and Poland entities; coordinate with Global Accounting.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, accruals, and prepayments.
- Lead statutory audits and prepare annual statements under UK GAAP/FRS 102; liaise with auditors.
- Oversee AR and ensure timely collections and aged debt management.
- Strengthen internal controls to support GAAP/regulatory reporting compliance.
- Partner with commercial/operational teams to reflect business economics (revenue, fees, costs).
🎯 Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified; Big-4 trained; post-qualification experience in financial control.
- Experience in ecommerce/marketplace/consumer goods; comfortable with high volumes and revenue recognition.
- Experience with UK GAAP/FRS 102; IFRS familiarity; German HGB advantageous.
- Experience working with external auditors and year-end audits.
- Multi-entity/multi-jurisdiction exposure.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with large datasets and BI tools.
- Excellent communicator; able to translate financials for non-finance stakeholders.
