Finance and Accounting Associate

📋 Description

• Data Analytics: Contribute to internal data infrastructure; write queries and dashboards.
• Accounts Receivable: Invoices, follow up on payments, apply payments in Maxio.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Employee Expense Processing: Review expenses via Ramp and reimburse stipends and travel.
• Bank and investor reporting: Prepare monthly compliance reports and quarterly investor updates.
• Process Payroll: Run payroll for hourly and salaried staff, including commissions.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years in accounting or finance; SaaS background a plus.
• Skills: Detail-oriented; strong Excel/Google Sheets; SQL a plus.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity: Familiar with Maxio, QuickBooks, Ramp; core accounting concepts.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
