Overview
Files.com is seeking a VP of Product Marketing who will close gaps in our go-to-market strategy by owning product messaging, positioning, and the competitive narrative—translating deep product and customer insights into compelling messaging for enterprise IT buyers. This executive will lead cross-functional teams in Austin, TX to shape how our products are perceived and purchased by enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and own product messaging, positioning, and value proposition across the product portfolio for enterprise IT buyers.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, messaging frameworks, and competitive differentiation to drive adoption and revenue.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and successful launches.
- Build and scale content, campaigns, and events to reach enterprise customers and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Lead and mentor the Product Marketing team, fostering a data-driven culture and measuring impact against pipeline and revenue goals.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to continuously refine messaging.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product marketing or related leadership experience in SaaS or enterprise IT markets.
- Proven track record delivering successful go-to-market programs, product launches, and demand generation in B2B software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and cross-functional leadership.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate product value into business impact.
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading high-performing teams.
