The Role: Engineering Manager, Protocol Indexing

As the Engineering Manager for Protocol Indexing, you will lead a team responsible for building and operating robust indexing pipelines for blockchain protocol data. You will partner with product, data, and platform teams to define technical strategy, drive delivery, and mentor engineers to grow their skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing engineering team focused on protocol indexing, data reliability, and performance.
• Define technical architecture and roadmaps for indexing pipelines across multiple blockchain protocols.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver value on schedule.
• Establish best practices for monitoring, testing, quality, and security.
• Recruit, hire, and grow engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership experience with a track record of delivering distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain indexing or data pipelines is a plus.
• Proficiency in Rust or Go and experience with modern orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
