Figma is seeking a Researcher, Rapid Research to help teams ship great products faster by conducting fast, iterative user research. This role sits on our product research team and collaborates with product, design, and engineering to uncover user needs and validate concepts quickly. Location: onsite in San Francisco or New York.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct rapid qualitative user research (interviews, usability testing, concept testing)
Recruit participants, manage scheduling and logistics
Synthesize findings into actionable insights and communicate to cross-functional teams
Create lightweight artifacts (personas, journey maps, executive summaries)
Help shape research processes and contribute to best practices

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in user research or related field
Strong background in qualitative research methods and data synthesis
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Experience with participant recruitment and scheduling; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: experience with Figma or design tools; familiarity with product development cycles

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
