Overview

Figma is seeking a People Data Analyst to join our People Analytics team. You will partner with HR, recruiting, and business leaders to analyze workforce data, build actionable insights, and support decision-making across recruiting, retention, performance, and employee experience. This role supports our offices in San Francisco and New York.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reports to measure HR metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, attrition, DEI, and other business outcomes.
Collaborate with People Ops and Recruiting to translate data into actionable insights that inform talent strategy.
Investigate data quality issues, define data definitions, and support data governance initiatives.
Analyze trends across the employee lifecycle and provide data-driven recommendations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in data analytics; experience in People Analytics is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Willingness to work across multiple locations (San Francisco, New York) as needed.
