Role Overview
Figma is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead and scale our global compliance program across privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. This role partners with Legal, Security, Product, and Operations to assess risks, implement controls, and ensure ongoing audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company’s compliance program across regions
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into effective policies
- Lead privacy and data protection initiatives (GDPR/CCPA compliance)
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and procurement teams
- Manage vendor risk and conduct internal/external audits
- Coordinate training and awareness programs for staff
- Oversee incident response readiness and governance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in compliance, privacy, or information security (manager level)
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and related privacy regulations
- Experience building and leading an enterprise-wide compliance program
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree; JD or equivalent is a plus
