Field Services Engineer

📋 Description

• Own network infra deployment, maintenance, and bringup across sites
• Oversee outside plant and long-haul fiber vendors; ensure SLA compliance
• Install, configure, and commission network devices
• Own end-to-end RMA processes: triage, swap, ship, track, close
• Manage spares inventory and cross-site logistics
• Travel up to 40-60% to sites across the U.S.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in field engineering, network ops, or telecom infra (3+ for right candidate)
• Understand fiber optic systems to oversee vendor work; validate splicing and tests
• Familiar with network hardware deployment (switches, routers, optics)
• Managed RMA workflows and spares logistics across sites
• Hold OSHA 10/30, BICSI, or fiber certifications; willing to obtain others
• Can work independently in the field with minimal supervision and strong communication
