On-site diagnostics and repair to resolve outages using Layer 1-3 troubleshooting.
Repair/replace cabling (Cat5e/6 or Fiber) and connectors; verify with OTDR/Light Meters.
Install, re-configure, and troubleshoot CPE including managed routers, NID, and ONT.
Interface with the NOC to verify VLAN tagging, IP assignments (Static/Dynamic), and routing protocols.
Navigate server rooms and closets to extend demarcations or optimize equipment placement.
Conduct speed tests and latency benchmarks to meet SLAs.

🎯 Requirements

Foundational networking: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE level routing/TCP/IP.
Ethernet and fiber tech: GPON and Active Ethernet.
Tools: Fusion splicers, OTDRs, meters; NetAlly/VIAVI.
Hardware familiarity: Cisco, Juniper, Adtran, Ciena gear.
Certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE active or expired preferred.
Professional presence with business owners and IT managers.
