The Engineering Enablement team is a crucial part of our engineering organization. Your Role:
We're looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dhaka. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our high-traffic platform. You will tackle exciting challenges in a collaborative, agile environment, working on services that are critical to the Field Nation marketplace and have a direct impact on our users.
What you’ll do: Build & Enhance APIs: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.Develop Core Services: Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code for the microservices that power our platform.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software developers, QAEs and Security Engineers to deliver secured and seamless developer experience.Database Management: Interact with and optimize our databases (both SQL and NoSQL) to ensure high performance and data integrity.Maintain & Improve: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing CI/CD pipelines and standard workflows.Uphold Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and contribute to our team's culture of quality and continuous improvement. What you’ll need: Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in backend software development.Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, particularly in a backend context with Node.js Additional Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB).Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience building and working with microservices architecture.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
