About Aios Medical

Our overarching mission is to accelerate the mass-market global adoption of consumer biotech products so every human can live at least 100 healthy years.

Our immediate focus is excess bodyweight. We are increasing the global accessibility of GLP-1 medications to accelerate their take-up to help solve obesity worldwide.

To do that, we’re building an AI-powered clinical operating system: ClinicOS. ClinicOS makes it effortless for consumer brands to easily offer direct-to-patient healthcare, globally. We work with external Brand Partners, as well as using this infrastructure to scale our own internal consumer healthcare brands.

Since we launched Fella Health in the US in June 2021, Fella has positioned itself as no-nonsense weight loss for busy bigger guys. Today, we operate multiple brands across the US & UK — our two biggest are Fella Health (US & UK) & Bolt Pharmacy (UK).

Our infrastructure will have served 100 million patients worldwide by 2035. We’ll then use that direct-to-patient infrastructure to serve next-gen biotech products at-scale to increase the proportion of humans living at least 100 healthy years.

In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion dollar healthcare company.

The opportunity as AI Engineer

As AI Engineer at Aios, you’ll build the AI systems that power how we grow and how we serve patients. You’ll work with Gzim (Head of Engineering) and the rest of the team to design, build, and scale AI that removes manual work, improves accuracy, and makes our systems move faster.

You’ll work end to end: code, test, deploy, monitor, and improve.

You’ll focus on measurable impact and reliability, building systems that work in production and make our teams 10x more effective.

We’re hiring two people for this role, each with a different focus.

  • AI Engineer: Growth

    • You’ll build AI tools that directly improve acquisition and conversion.

    • You’ll create voice and chat agents that engage users, automate lead capture and follow up, and design backend systems that keep these flows reliable.

    • Your work will help us reach more patients and hit our growth goals faster.

  • AI Engineer: ClinicOS (CX / Operations)

    • You’ll build AI systems that make care delivery faster, safer, and more efficient.

    • You’ll automate key parts of our patient journey inside ClinicOS: image and document verification, prescription checks, evidence validation, and clinical copilots that support our medical team.

    • Your work will make it possible for us to serve thousands more patients at the same quality and speed.

This is a full time, fully remote role. You’ll work mostly async and collaborate until midday Pacific when needed. You’ll move fast, keep things simple, and build systems that deliver real impact across the company.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll build and own our AI systems across growth and operations. You’ll make things fast, reliable, and simple & build tools that remove bottlenecks, increase conversion, and scale how we work.

  • Core AI infrastructure: Build and maintain the systems that connect LLMs to our stack. Set up evaluation, monitoring, and fallbacks that keep everything stable. Optimize cost, latency, and performance while keeping it easy to debug and deploy.

  • AI-powered operations: Automate high-impact processes inside our platform from image and document checks to data validation and smart copilots that make our workflows more efficient. Build evaluation methods that ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • AI-powered growth: Build AI tools that drive conversion & lead capture flows, chat and voice agents, and backend systems that automate our funnel. Track metrics like sign-ups, response time, and conversion rate to iterate quickly.

  • Data and iteration: Measure everything. Ship, test, and refine weekly. Use clear metrics to decide what to scale, what to cut, and how to make every system perform better.

Need to Have

  • Experience: 4+ years in software engineering with hands-on work in AI, backend, or systems.

  • LLM Production: Proven experience shipping LLM applications — prompt design, RAG, fine-tuning, or evaluation.

  • TS/Python: Strong coding skills in TypeScript and/or Python.

  • APIs: Experience designing and building modern, reliable APIs.

  • UI:Comfortable creating simple internal tools using React or similar.

  • Ownership:Works independently and takes projects from concept to production.

  • Evaluation:Understands how to test, monitor, and improve model performance in production.

Nice to Have

  • Infra basics: Vector databases, embeddings, orchestration frameworks.

  • Eval + monitoring: Built systems that track model quality and reliability.

  • Data at scale: Experience with large data pipelines or distributed systems.

  • Cloud: AWS or similar cloud experience.

  • Automation: Experience with OCR, image processing, or document pipelines.

  • CS background: Degree or equivalent.

  • Open source: Public contributions or visible projects are a plus.
