Federal Chief Technical Advisor

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted CTO-level advisor to federal agency leaders.
• Build deep understanding of each customer’s tech, legacy systems, and security posture.
• Provide strategic roadmaps guiding investments and multi-year security programs.
• Lead executive briefings, architecture workshops, and strategy sessions.
• Tackle complex, multi-domain security challenges (Zero Trust, cloud, IAM, SIEM, GRC).
• Coordinate Technical Directors across domains to deliver depth without extra agency coordination.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in federal cybersecurity, IT strategy, or advisory roles at senior level.
• Proven ability identifying complex federal tech challenges and multi-vendor solutions.
• Direct CTO/Chief Architect/Principal Technologist experience with federal agencies or federal services firms.
• Demonstrated track record growing federal business and supporting AE-led growth.
• Deep familiarity with Zero Trust, cloud security, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, and GRC in the federal landscape.
• CISSP required; DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II; Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred; willingness to pursue clearance upgrade.
