Role overview
As VP of Product Marketing, you will partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to define and execute product marketing strategy, translate product roadmaps into compelling market propositions, and lead a high-performing team through impactful launches and ongoing market initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product marketing strategy for Fastly’s suite of products.
- Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, and product positioning.
- Lead go-to-market planning, product launches, and demand generation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product to translate roadmaps into market requirements and successful launches.
- Partner with Sales to create enablement content, training, and tools to accelerate pipeline.
- Build and manage a high-performing product marketing team.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy and product direction.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product marketing, preferably for enterprise SaaS or edge/cloud platforms.
- Proven track record delivering successful GTM programs and product launches.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to influence at executive levels and drive alignment across teams.
- Experience leading hybrid or distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
