Fastly is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our remote European team to partner with the sales organization to design, present, and implement technical solutions for prospective customers on Fastly's edge cloud platform. This role focuses on customer outcomes, performance, reliability, and security, with deep knowledge of web technologies and cloud integrations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with field sales to understand customer needs and craft architecture and deployment recommendations.
Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations to technical and business audiences.
Lead POCs and pilots, troubleshoot performance issues, and advise on integration with existing systems.
Respond to RFPs and technical questions regarding Fastly's platform, security, and scalability.
Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to relay customer requirements and feedback.

What You\'ll Need

5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles.
Solid understanding of web performance, CDN concepts, caching, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API integrations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present to technical and non technical audiences.
