Director, Billing Platform Product Management

Fastly is seeking a Director, Billing Platform Product Management to lead the strategy and execution of our billing platform. This senior role combines product leadership with hands-on delivery to scale Fastly's billing capabilities and revenue operations.

The Role

As the Director of Billing Platform Product Management, you will own the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for the billing platform. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure a scalable, reliable, and customer-centric billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for the billing platform, including pricing, invoicing, subscriptions, metering, usage-based billing, and revenue recognition.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, and drive execution against milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design scalable architectures and APIs for billing services.
• Partner with Finance and Compliance to maintain accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Mentor and grow a team of product managers and associated roles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in B2B or platform billing/product areas.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; exceptional stakeholder management.
• Experience with billing systems, invoicing, revenue recognition, or related platforms.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise software products in fast-paced environments.
