- Be the resident Fastly architect for the customer and champion their needs within Fastly.
- Develop technical relationships to understand their team, infrastructure, plans, and challenges.
- Post-sales implementation of Fastly products (logging endpoints, image optimization, VCL) and document configurations.
- Investigate and recommend improvements to the customer’s implementation and utilization of Fastly’s technology.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new Fastly products to meet the customer’s needs.
- Partner internally to craft customer strategies and support requests.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in Pre- or Post-Sales roles (Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architect).
- Hands-on, willing to roll up sleeves to tackle customer issues.
- Networking knowledge: BGP, internet routing; transit vs peering.
- HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS, HLS, DASH; load balancing; Apache/NGINX.
- Linux with scripting: Python, Sed, Awk, Perl, JSON, Ruby, Go, Node.js.
- Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP.
