The Broadcast Operations Manager is responsible for management of Remote and Studio Production-related planning, logistics and budgets for the TV Technologies Department. The TV Technologies Coordinator will work in a collaborative fashion with members of the TV Technologies Management Team as well as cross-departmental members (e.g. – Production, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) to assist with strategic planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution and tracking.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to play

  • A member of the team in strategic planning for productions to include budget development and tracking, technical staffing as needed, production schedules and oversight of logistics.
  • Assist with the management, monitoring, and tracking the daily budgetary oversight for all show components including staffing, design plans, and all logistical operations along with assuring proper daily communication between the Studio Crew and the Production Management department.
  • Coordinate with various departments (Production, Operations, Engineering, Production Administration, HR, Accounts Payable, Finance, Vendors and more to ensure all production objectives are properly communicated and executed.
  • Provide Project Management on Studio and Remote Production Projects
  • Ensure accurate maintenance, invoicing, reporting and forecasting of assigned production-related budgetary status, results, and statements on a quarterly basis. Identifying to Operations management and opportunities.
  • Fostering collaboration with the other internal departments and external entities to maximize efficiencies (e.g. - Digital, Operations, etc.) and assist in the execution of programming and production.

THE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or equivalent preferred
  • Experience managing projects, schedules, and budgets
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a production environment
  • Proficient in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Asana, Jira, Schedule All and Xytech are beneficial
  • Prior production experience with knowledge of horse racing a plus
  • This role is onsite in Los Angeles
  • Availability to travel for various racing events
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, excellent organization and communication skills, strong time management ability

The applicable salary range for this position is $111,000 - $139,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
