Facilities Supervisor (Starbase Village)

📋 Description

• Lead facilities team for 1,000+ residents and Starship ops.
• Manage vendors to enforce standards and cut costs.
• Plan and execute site upgrades aligned with goals.
• Oversee housing, lodging, food & beverage, recreation, and school facilities.
• Implement proactive preventive maintenance for launch & support facilities.
• Monitor construction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with zero disruption.
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians and trades to peak performance.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment; drive continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years facilities management experience.
• 1+ year leading a team or project.
• Bachelor's in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Budget management and vendor negotiation with cost optimization.
• Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or large-scale operations.
• Asset management software and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in dynamic settings.
• Innovative problem-solver driving efficiency in high-volume, 24/7 environments.
• 24/7 on-call for emergencies.
• Willingness to relocate to Starbase, Texas with shift work in a remote location.
• Stand: up to 6 hours/day.
• Sit: up to 3 hours/day.
• Push/Pull: up to 50 lbs (unassisted) 1-2 hrs/day.
• Overhead reach: up to 1 hour/day.
• Walk: up to 3 hours/day.
• Lift/Carry: up to 25 lbs (unassisted) 1-2 hrs/day.
• Climb (ladder/stairs): up to 1 hour/day.
• Kneel/Crouch: up to 1 hour/day.
• Upper body twist: up to 1 hour/day.
• Work in temperatures over 80°F up to 1 hour/day.
• Capable of safely performing physical requirements; may require medical review.
• ITAR: U.S. citizen/national or eligible for authorization.
