You will be joining a high-performing Extreme One Cloud engineering team that architects, designs, implements, and tests new features and functionality for ExtremeCloud Applications and Platform - an AI/ML powered, wired, and wireless cloud network management solution. You will take new features from concept to delivery, working closely with team members and cross-functional partners to design and develop high-quality solutions that take into consideration scalability, availability and performance.

Resonsibilities

  • Technically lead the team of professionals to deliver Network Automation/Orchestration Product
  • Idea Incubation, Solution Completeness and PLM Interfacing
  • Customer Engagement/Conversation, Roadmap Planning and strategizing execution
  • Bring in Best in Class Engineering practices and passionately drive the implementation of the same - be it Test Driven Development and Design Principles
  • Lead architecture, design and implementation for the product
  • Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of proficiency in below areas
  • Java/GoLang, Linux OS, Data structures, IPC mechanisms. Intricate understanding of multi-threading/routines, Network programming and Object oriented methodologies
  • Complete exposure to entire Product Life Cycle
  • Micro services based Architecture and their best practices. Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s, K3s) cluster, Helm charts
  • Exposure to cloud development using Public and hybrid cloud.
  • Agile Development Model with CI/CD , Jenkins pipeline and working knowledge of Git environment.
  • DB concepts and Deployment models - RDBMS/No SQL/TSDB/Clustering/Postgres/Redis/MariaDb
  • Messaging Services like RabbitMQ/NATS/Kafka and clustering
  • Working experience of webhook/websockets/API gateways/Nginx
  • Design principles for cloud engineering
  • Security Protocols and technologies viz., OAuth2, AAA, RBAC, LDAP, HTTPS, Certs, Syslog/RELP
  • OpenAPI/OpenConfig NETCONF/Streaming Telemetry/GNMI/GRPC/XMPP
  • Sound Data/Information modelling techniques and tools used for Modelling like YANG, UML, JSON etc..
  • Demonstrable ability to generalize variety of data inputs into well-formed/conceptualized models exposed to different set of North Bound agents via REST APIs.
  • Exposure to NFV/SDN Solution and solving real deployment challenges thereof, will be added advantage
  • Knowledge in L2/L3 OSI layer Protocols - 802.1Q; LAGs; VxLAN; EVPN; ACLs; Route Policy; MPLS/VPLS; BGP; and L2 Forwarding; L3 Routing will be desirable
  • Exceptional Written/Verbal Communication Skills
