📋 Description

• Lead policy engagement with German government and public sector partners.
• Engage policy stakeholders via briefings, consultations, demos, roundtables.
• Partner with the EMEA GTM team to support commercial efforts.
• Support and promote public-private AI research collaborations.
• Build coalitions with government agencies, nonprofits, safety institutes, and academics.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate Anthropic research into policy proposals and stakeholder education.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in public policy or corporate affairs, or related private sector experience.
• Ability to develop and execute strategy independently with cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing policymakers and government officials.
• Interest/experience in AI policy and regulatory topics (cybersecurity, copyright, data protection).
• Experience working in or with the German governmental system.
• Willing/able to engage with national governments across central Europe as Anthropic grows in EMEA.
