Excavation Operator

📋 Description

• Operate heavy earth-moving equipment safely (dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, compactors).
• Excavate, grade, and compact land surfaces.
• Load soil and material into trucks for stockpiling or disposal.
• Use handheld radios to coordinate tasks and resources.
• Read and follow safety plans, SDS, warning tags, and procedures.
• Work independently or as part of a team; flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Operator 1: 2+ years heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience.
• Operator 2: 5+ years heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience.
• Operator 3: 10+ years heavy equipment operation/maintenance experience.
• Preferred trainings: HAZWOPER 40h, Competent Person Safety.
• OSHA 30h Construction Safety; First Aid/CPR.
