About the Color Design Associate Role

As a Color Design Associate, you will work closely with the product design team to develop color palettes across apparel lines, coordinate color stories for new collections, and ensure accurate color reproduction from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage color palettes and color stories for multiple product categories.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure color accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain Pantone/color libraries, swatch cards, and reference materials.
• Verify color accuracy on samples and production runs; troubleshoot color issues.
• Support sustainability goals in color selection and dye processes where feasible.
• Prepare color trend reports and mood boards for seasonal presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience in color design for fashion, apparel, product design, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, Pantone systems, and color calibration.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Figma.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple color projects simultaneously.
