EU Head of Compliance (2LOD)

📋 Description

• Design and scale a robust 2LoD framework for Danish standards and agile fintech.
• Primary contact for DFSA and EU regulators; manage inspections and filings.
• Advise Product teams on compliant-by-design features before rollout.
• Lead the 2LoD monitoring program; ensure 1LoD adherence in resilience tasks.
• Overhaul and maintain core policies; adapt to EU markets.
• Report to the Board on compliance health and emerging risks; mentor team.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years in legal/compliance in regulated financial services.
• Experience with European regulators (DFSA, CSSF, BaFin, CBI).
• Scaling a firm from scale-up to mature regulated institution.
• Data and automation to monitor compliance; move from spreadsheets.
• Clear, actionable guidance to cross-functional teams; report to Board.
• Cert: CAMS or ICA Diploma or strong legal background; Danish regs a plus.
