About Ethyca

Ethyca is a data privacy platform that helps organizations manage privacy programs and compliance with GDPR/CCPA. We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to join our team and help customers understand how Ethyca can protect data while enabling business outcomes.

Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer at Ethyca, you will partner with the sales team to translate Ethyca's data privacy platform into clear technical value for prospective customers, deliver compelling product demonstrations, capture technical requirements, and support successful deployments and integrations. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, Security and Compliance teams, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and successful adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Gather and translate customer requirements into practical solution designs and integration patterns.
  • Respond to security/compliance questions and assist with proofs of concept.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to relay customer feedback and improve offerings.
  • Document integration requirements and map Ethyca capabilities to customer environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineering role, ideally in SaaS, data privacy, or security.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy concepts (GDPR/CCPA), data governance, and security controls.
  • Experience with cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with privacy tech, privacy programs, or compliance frameworks.
