How You’ll Support Our Mission

As the Director of Information Technology based in the United States you will lead the strategic and operational direction of our IT department. This role combines leadership in infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and service delivery. You’ll be instrumental in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring secure, scalable IT operations. This role reports to our Chief Information Security Officer and is a remote position.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Day to Day

IT Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy that supports organizational growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor IT professionals across infrastructure, applications, and support functions, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Enterprise Systems Oversight:

Manage the architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.

Vendor & Budget Management:

Oversee vendor relationships, technology procurement, and IT budgeting to maximize value and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with departments across the organization to support digital transformation initiatives and enhance the employee technology experience.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and report on IT performance metrics, project timelines, and service delivery outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Duties:

Support other IT-related initiatives and strategic projects as needed to advance the company’s mission.


Who You Are – The Essentials

  • 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including managing teams and enterprise systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven ability to lead strategic planning, budgeting, and vendor management.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


Who You Are – The Desirables (It’s a plus if you have):

  • Experience in healthcare, emergency services, or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise architecture.
