Escrow Accountant

📋 Description

• Maintain proper accounting procedures across several states and bank accounts
• Deposit funds promptly and notify all parties of receipt
• Disburse escrow files per signed settlements, contracts and lender instructions
• Track, investigate, and place stop payments on outstanding, uncleared checks
• Initiate and approve wire transfers with accuracy
• Use Qualia to perform daily reconciliation of trust accounts and resolve discrepancies

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in title funding/escrow accounting
• Licensed or willing to be licensed as a title agent in multiple states (PA, MO)
• Strong problem solver with cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers
• Must be located in Denver, CO or West Ventura County, CA, in-office
• Superior attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot discrepancies
