Field Crew Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee field crews collecting AIM data (botanical, soil, landscape metrics).
• Supervise daily crew operations, logistics, safety, and field visits.
• Plan evaluations and field operations; review hitch plans; replace gear.
• Coordinate with field crews, ERG PMs, and BLM for field deployments.
• Perform QC of field data using ArcGIS, FieldMaps, Survey123, Excel.
• Fieldwork in remote environments; camping for multiple nights; safety.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, rangeland ecology, or related field.
• 2+ years of field data collection or crew management
• Familiarity with BLM AIM or similar ecological monitoring programs
• Experience using ArcGIS Field Maps, FieldMaps, Survey123 for data collection
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple crews
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive 4WD on rough terrain

🎁 Benefits

• Base pay of $26-27 per hour, plus overtime paid at time and a half.
• Up to $45/day per diem in the field (camping $15, meals $30).
