Equipment Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Work with project engineering to ensure reliability of new/modified installations.
• Guide maintainability of critical equipment, processes, utilities, and safety systems.
• Own equipment improvement plans for preventative maintenance and reduced downtime.
• Define and refine asset maintenance plans with predictive maintenance and testing methods.
• Prepare asset documentation for mechanical, controls, and software reviews.
• Develop solutions to repetitive failures affecting plant operations.
• Analyze assets with utilization, OEE, remaining life, and reliability metrics.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
• Manage asset improvement requests and data collection.
• Apply value analysis to repair/replace and make/buy decisions.
• ITAR: U.S. citizen or eligible status to comply with export regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, or manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years in engineering roles in manufacturing, reliability, or operations.
• Advanced engineering degree with reliability analysis experience.
• 2+ years in maintenance engineering and reliability in high-volume ops.
• Hands-on experience with equipment control systems and industrial automation.
• Understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical components.
• Ability to read schematics and OEM manuals.
• Experience with probability and statistics tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with sense of urgency.
• Experience with CMMS like Maximo, SAP, Infor.
• CRE or CMRP certification.
