  • Partner with Sales to articulate Datadog value to customers.
  • Own technical engagement with customers during trials; show value.
  • Technically close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge.
  • Deliver product and technical briefings to potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate notes/feedback in CRM on customer input.
  • Proactively engage with customers and Datadog teams on product feedback.

🎯 Requirements

  • Educate customers on observability risks and evaluate plans.
  • Strong written and oral communication; articulate business value and technical advantages.
  • Programming/scripting experience: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, .NET.
  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
  • Able to sit up to 4 hours and travel to client sites.
  • Willing to travel up to 45% by auto, train or air.
