Senior Mainframe System Programmer - z/OS at Ensono in Chennai, India. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing IBM z/OS mainframe environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. You will install, configure, and tune the operating system and subsystems, develop and maintain JCL, COBOL, and CICS workloads, and manage DB2 databases. The position involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, coordinating with application teams, implementing security controls (e.g., RACF), and participating in change management and disaster recovery planning. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of hands-on mainframe experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. Familiarity with IBM utilities and z/OS system software is required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a willingness to work on-site in Chennai.
