Job Description
Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer - zOS to join our Pune, India team. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing z/OS mainframe environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain z/OS systems and related subsystems.
- Monitor performance and capacity; perform tuning and optimization.
- Manage JES, CICS/IMS, and other mainframe components as required.
- Apply patches, IPLs, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience with z/OS, IBM z-Series hardware, and mainframe tooling (JCL, SDSF, ISPF).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment and support 24x7 operations.
