Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Solution Delivery Architect to lead end-to-end delivery of mainframe-based solutions for clients. You will own the architecture, provide technical leadership, and oversee delivery for complex mainframe programs, modernization initiatives, and integration with modern systems.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable mainframe architectures on z/OS platforms (CICS, COBOL, DB2).
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to define requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
Lead technical governance, code reviews, risk management, and ensure performance, security, and compliance.
Champion modernization efforts and integration with cloud and distributed systems.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure successful handovers to operations.

Qualifications

Strong experience in mainframe technologies: COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 on z/OS.
Experience in solution architecture, delivery management, and client-facing roles.
Familiarity with modernization approaches and integration with APIs and cloud systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
