Role Overview

Data Center Operator is an on-site technical role based at our Raleigh, NC facility. You will support day-to-day data center operations, monitor equipment, assist with cabling and rack management, and coordinate with facilities and IT teams to maintain uptime.

Responsibilities

Monitor data center infrastructure including servers, network devices, power, and cooling systems.
Assist with rack and cable management, labeling, and equipment organization.
Respond to incidents, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with IT and facilities teams.
Follow standard operating procedures, change control processes, and document changes in runbooks.
Support preventive maintenance and hardware checks on data center equipment.
Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to ensure uptime and security of the data center.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of data center operations or IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with server hardware, networking devices, and power/cooling concepts.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working in a data center environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow procedures and document outcomes.
On-site availability at Raleigh, NC or nearby areas.
