Engineering Team Leader, Elements Team

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 3-5 Fullstack developers.
• Write and review code (70/30 split toward management).
• Ensure the team follows processes and engineering guidelines.
• Own the delivery of features and adherence to deadlines.
• Make technical decisions and designs; align with teams and manager.
• Manage technical debt and maintain the backlog.
• Mentor engineers; conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
• Onboard new team members.
• Conduct performance reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software development; 2+ years as Team Lead/EM with 3-5 devs.
• Hands-on leader who writes code and designs systems.
• Strong people management: hiring, coaching, feedback, conflict resolution.
• At least 3 years experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• At least 5 years in product companies with TS, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.
• Startup/fast-growth experience a plus.
• English at B2+; confident discussing technical topics.
