📋 Description

• Manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend/frontend)
\n
• 30% time on management; otherwise contribute to product work
\n
• Hire and onboard engineers for the team
\n
• Manage team dynamics and bring out the best in the team
\n
• Provide continuous feedback and coaching
\n
• Redesign engineering work with autonomous agents as the default
\n

🎯 Requirements

\n
• Managed an engineering team of at least 2 people
\n
• Frontend (React, JS, ES6, Jest) or Backend (Elixir/Phoenix)
\n
• Commitment to Remote’s values within the team and organization
\n
• Strong engineering fundamentals; secure, reliable, scalable systems
\n
• Experience designing/adopting agentic/automation workflows
\n
• Ability to think in systems: specs, plan, verify, close the loop on quality
\n
• Solid communication and knowledge of engineering best practices
\n
