Engineering Manager, Verifications

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Verifications engineering team; set tech direction
• Own reliability and quality of a broad portfolio of integrations
• Partner with Product to define roadmap across employment, education, drug, and compliance
• Drive technical strategy for scaling a complex, integration-heavy system
• Lead AI-assisted development adoption with quality and accuracy
• Represent Verifications in cross-functional planning with Product and Compliance

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years as engineering manager; strong team development
• 8+ years as software engineer; service architecture and distributed systems
• Experience managing complex third-party integrations
• Track record of improving operational metrics and reliability
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools
• Experience with regulated products requiring data accuracy and compliance
• Strong incident management and stakeholder communication
• Ability to prioritize quickly with a clear framework
