Engineering Manager - Shipping

📋 Description

• Lead a cross-functional Fulfilment team to improve post-order shipping and delivery.
• Own technical direction and architecture for scalable, reliable fulfilment systems.
• Grow engineers into high performers and future leaders.
• Partner with Product and UX to shape roadmap and translate priorities into technical strategy.
• Enforce engineering standards, processes, and measurable quality metrics.
• Navigate ambiguity in a scale-up environment while delivering impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering foundation with 5–10 years of experience.
• Proven people leadership (1–2+ years) growing engineers.
• Experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, UX, and stakeholders.
• Technical decision-making confidence guiding architecture trade-offs.
• Ownership mindset, end-to-end problem solving.
• Nice to have: marketplace/e-commerce or scale-up in logistics/shipping.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across teams.
