Engineering Manager, Servicing and Collections

📋 Description

• Lead a team building systems powering repayment, payments, and collections.
• Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact initiatives to improve repayments and reduce delinquency.
• Evolve the servicing platform with senior engineers toward modular, reliable, observable systems.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and Compliance on smarter collections and self-service experiences.
• Ensure reliability of mission-critical systems with uptime, data integrity, and incident readiness.
• Leverage AI to accelerate velocity while navigating regulated environments.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar, staying close to the code.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering; 3+ years leading teams.
• Strong full-stack foundation; dive into code, debug, and guide architecture.
• Experience building/operating high-stakes systems (payments, servicing, billing) with reliability and data integrity.
• Proven track record scaling systems and teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Clear communicator; aligns technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentoring and developing engineers.
