Engineering Manager - Security Squad

📋 Description

• Plan and implement comprehensive risk-driven security strategies
• Lead the security team (4 ICs) and manage related tools budget
• Coordinate with department managers to align security needs and strategy
• Ensure robust security processes with internal and external stakeholders
• Define a mid-to-long-term security strategy aligned with BBC values
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in risk management and auditing internal processes
• Proven team management and leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain security to non-tech
• Broad knowledge of security across attack vectors and defenses
• Knowledge of security/privacy regs/standards (GDPR, PCI DSS)
• Experience with large-scale production systems and security audits
• Optional: ability to coordinate responses to security breaches
