Engineering Manager - Security Incident Response (EMEA)

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of incident responders to grow security and resilience.
• Hands-on leader during incidents; on-call in secondary rotation.
• Triaging alerts in Datadog Cloud SIEM; tune signals for value.
• Build tools and processes to mature incident response; measure outcomes.
• Lead post-incident analysis; ensure blameless, actionable postmortems.
• Partner with Product Management to drive improvements and security plans.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years as a people manager or tech lead with mentorship.
• 3-5 years in incident response for security incidents and threats.
• Technical pragmatism; assess trade-offs; review RFCs with senior engineers.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge; read postmortems and contribute.
• Strong stakeholder management; effective English communication across teams.
