Engineering Manager, Platform Services

📋 Description

• Lead & mentor a team of 3–6 full-stack engineers; foster growth.
• Drive velocity with clear metrics and proactive stakeholder updates.
• Own the technical direction and long-term vision for Platform Services.
• Evolve the Python/Django monolith toward modular, scalable architecture.
• Develop future leaders and mentor senior engineers.
• Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Data teams to deliver compliant software.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years software engineering; 3+ years in people mgmt.
• Modern SaaS Experience: Python/Django, TypeScript/React, AWS, Kubernetes.
• AI & ML: LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG.
• Architectural Acumen: scale large apps; design patterns.
• Strategic Thinker: pragmatic decisions to untangle complexity and improve value.
• Agile & DevOps Mindset: CI/CD, test automation, observability.
• Empathetic & Accountable: people-first leadership.
• Exceptional Communicator: clear cross-team communication.
• Preferred: fine-tuning, RLHF; React; MLOps.
